What Once was Eden is Book Two of A Ship Called Hope, the prequal trilogy to my Sajani Tails series. The books are part of the Terah game world by Rossi Publishing Games. You can find the print and digital versions of the first book here. The Amazon Kindle version is also available, as well as one for Apple Books. You can search Chaaya Chandra to find me there
Before Sajani rose to be the pirate queen of Terah, she was a rather selfish and uncaring petty criminal. Learn about the events that forged her to be the symbol of hope and loyalty she is now.
Sent to Rhidayar to go to school, the fifteen year old Sajani Adida wants nothing more than to return home to her friends and continue her shadowy lifestyle. When the chance presents itself, she takes up with an escaped vykati slave and tries to make her way back to Drtithen. What should be a difficult trip quickly turns deadly when the human nation not only mounts an all out assault on the young pair, but also begins to prepare to go to war with Vharkylia.
Hopefully you enjoyed the last chapter of Fugitive's Trust. For those that might be wondering, Farnsbeck is a Terah class called the mountebank--a conman. One of the class abilities allows him to take on a poison. It allows for a new saving throw, plus any additional bonuses that might be in effect.
This first post is almost exactly how it was intended to be if this is was still only one book. I added the first two paragraphs and more will be added later to smooth out the transition.

With this chapter backlogged on my submissions notification list, I jumped right into the story. The start feels a little scattered, but I learned that because I started reading a sequal. Regardless, I feel the start was clear enough. My interest is peaked, and I now have a new story to read.
Thanks for the feedback! You're 100% right.
lol. You didn't just start reading a sequel. You started reading the second book in a trilogy. :P Even worse. In the Sajani Tails series, it's possible to read Faux Scent before Wolf's Pawn, even though it'll make more sense the other way around. Since there's no definite conclusion to Fugitives' Hope, reading What Once was Eden first is going to be really confusing. That said, there has been some editing orders on this that haven't gone through yet.
There are three types of changes the publisher sends back to me. 1. Change if you want, but consider what I'm saying. It means I'm supposed to look at the scene and make sure it fits both what I want and story continuity, but he's leaving it up to me to decide if I want to change it. 2. Change this so that... means that I need to make changes, usually in continuity, but how I make those changes in entirely up to me. 3. If you don't change it, I will. I don't get this one often, but it means that the change needs to be very specific and I'm not going to be given a lot of artistic license.
The order on this installment is a very clear type 3. I'm to include character and location descriptions to each new area. That will help a lot, but like I said, this is part two of a trilogy. It's a trilogy the way Lord of the Rings is a trilogy in that it was written to be one book, but is getting divided into three as opposed to a trilogy like Dragonlance Chronicles that are three separate novels telling an over-arching story.

You'll want to start here. This trilogy is a prequel to the Sajani Tails books. Those haven't been approved for release here, but might in the future.
Thanks for your interest. It's a real boost to actually hear from readers. My own friends have yet to give any feedback and I'm afraid to ask. :P
