Excuse my excessive love for certain anime, but this has always been and still is one of my favorite poses! So in working on bettering my art, i decided to draw my Wulvricks in my favorite pose. Giving the piece a simple background reminiscent of a stage and putting the focus on the actual characters i think made the art look alot more engaging to show how cute the pair here is. I included the line on the top to make the reference to the pose alot clearer as thats the 'actual' line happening at the part the pose is shown, if the reference still isnt clear then i think i did a great job making it original somehow! I really also wanted to thank everyone here on this website supporting my art and the friends who are also supporting me here too, it means alot to me, and i wouldnt know what to do without them, especially since without them i wouldnt even be posting here!
This is the part where i splurge on more about Wulvrick and what they are as a species..! Wulvricks have different coats and colors depending on the environment they live in, some thicker, some thinner, some black, some white. like actual different kinds of fur wolves generally have. I'll get into it more when i actually draw and post them but some Wulvricks even have more unnatural color fur coats for various reasons, such as ones living in fiery volcanic environments having redder blazing like fur from growing up in the environment. But we arent focusing on cool edgy fire Wulvricks, this piece has a cute snow and darker fured stage 2 Wulvrick pairing being all cute together! Wulvricks arent locked into fur color and environmental advantages their bodies can adapt to, but the process of changing to adapt to environments does take years, so alot longer in dog years for certain, and changing also doesnt occur if they are constantly switching environments and are on the move. Also all my past art of Wulvricks, they have big claws, in actuality, a Wulveicks claws are retractable and can retract all the way (not shown here) but their max length and sharpness does happen to be effected by the environment as well. thats probably a good amount of original species dump for the moment, thank you for listening.
Thank you again for taking a look at my art, ive been really feeling like its constantly not good enough and no one really likes it.. my lines are never straight, i dont even know how to properly shade or color and theres always something messed up on that front too. So to anyone that does actually think its good, thank you. In changing the colors to fit the image on the new fur colors for Wulvricks, i made the image with their original colors, that alt does exist and if you ever wanted to see it just let me know id be happy to share it. Also excuse the awful piece name, im honestly bad at name things, though it does make me happy my species name is entirely original. its the only thing that shows up on this website searching for Wulvricks!
