This is Leto, the Zangoose from the story that I'm working on, Breaking the Ice. Breaking the Ice is a prequel to a classic story I've already finished, Her Biggest Fan. I'll post Breaking the Ice when I finish it, which I don't know when that will be.

Anyway, as I said, this is Leto. He was an addition to Jeff's team around the time he took on Flannery. Jeff heard that Zangooses were pretty strong, and he needed something to take on Flannery with, so he followed his friend's advice and caught. Leto has more of a lax attitude, though often boasts alongside Ignis. The two of them became pretty good friends.

Little did Leto know that he was having an effect on a certain Sneasel, one who thought she would never be so weak as to succumb to something like love.

Leto is a very important character in both Breaking the Ice and Her Biggest Fan. He and Atra's history will be elaborated even further when the story is finished, which is always nice. He'll obviously be the focal point of Breaking the Ice, since that was one of the most devastating things that happened in Atra's past, as revealed in Her Biggest Fan.

As far as drawing Zangoose goes, I'm really glad that I improved substantially from my first attempt. Leto looks pretty badass to say the least. There's honestly nothing I would do differently with this picture, and I tend to be pretty critical of myself. Not that I'm really looking for critique, mind you, since I had to finish inking and coloring this is under an hour.

The background is simple, but it's so, so appropriate. I'm really pleased with how this and the other three from Breaking the Ice turned out. Definitely.
