The first entry in Rig-extravaganza! (I hate that word so much.)

What is Rig-extravaganza? It was an event where I tried to draw as much art of Rigby for a large reference sheet as I could at once. I even recorded it! *exhales*

I drew the instructions down on paper and re-drew that as best as I could!

So, without further ado, here's... Rigby!

An average high schooler that no one understands...

Pfft, yeah right.
More like the class weirdo everyone picks on. Like, who has literally no friends and obsesses over ghosts and comic books all the time? Freak. I want to shove him into a locker myself now. ...after I get myself out of mine first.

He just wants to fit in with the cool crowd... He can't help wearing a cutesy version of their jacket... (Look, the other one had a scary red bull on it and soft boy didn't like it) and that shirt with the baby show ghost on it, but girls like stuff like that, right?

Whenever someone tries to give him the light of day, he freaks out and ends up scaring them off with his overeagerness and overall general geekiness. Dang. I thought people liked that now. :(

Realizing this, he switched to acting aloof, but that doesn't work much, either. Word spreads fast at the school. Once you're the "weird ghost kid", that's it.

...guess I'll make friends in college...

(Fortunately, he makes friends, but he'll have to go a bit out of town to meet them...)

I think you know the story from here. Curious teen gets zappy zappy by machine, becomes half-dead. Has to hide secret identity from parent who will kill him. He goes around beating up bad guys. The whole song and dance.

I'm trying my hardest not to make him a Sue, guys. Really. It's just hard not to copy certain aspects of the show. 😬

I just want to hug him...
He's a precious boy who needs to be protected.
