Hello this is me if I were a bird. elelele birdsona. I basically wanted to make a character that reflected my bodytype I guess.
Fuck if i know, I drew this the other day in effort to make a REF
so I spent the past few hours colouring it and it was fucking fun as all hell.
Either way uhh yeah
I was wearing exactly whats in this image too. It's pretty awesome lol. SOO IDK THIS IS basically me wearing my patriotism on my sleeve - The idea of this character was floating around for god knows how long but it wasn't until the national identity defining moment that was the Vancouver Olympics that I really developed this character. At first I was thinking of giving him my middle name (Alexander) but AS YOU MAY HAVE ALREADY GUESSED HIS NAME IS AN AMALGAMATION OF TWO OLYMPIC ATHLETES. That being Alexandre Bilodeau (Won the first gold medal on home soil) and Charles Hamelin (COBRA STRIKE, Here's a terrible video, i apologize for the godawful music http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyljfphimpc)
TL;DR I wanted to fucking make a Loon character that embodied my Canadiana I guess.

Each station I caught the djs were less in your face, the music sets were longer with fewer commercials and the alternative stations were legitmately alternative. That, and Canadian accents sound like Wisconsin accents (unless they have that yooper/minnesotan thing going on) and so it reminded me of home.

I like this character, but i'd kind of like to see you try and add a bit more of a human touch to his face like you've done with prost. his current design doesnt lend itself well to facial expressions(which you excel at) and it sort of feels like a bird head and neck stuck onto human shoulders. i do understand that bird faces are a bit harder to anthropomorphisize than other animals, though 9_6
the wing arms are cool. does he have fingers in there somewhere OR ARE THEY JUST FEATHERS?
