So after doodling that Kabuki Red Panda the other night, I remembered I had an old character who was also a Red Panda, named Ryuu (used to be spelled with one u, but I say to thee NAY now just because). Hailing from as far back as 5th grade, he started life as a Mobian (later on he gets his own worldsetting) Red Panda who was adopted by this sorcerer rat named Xin Yang the art of ninjutsu who later in life becomes his greatest adversary. He also gets a Giant Panda girlfriend and befriends a female Oriental dragon and is teh roxorz.

He's another of those "I like the idea but admit his back story sucks" characters I seem to have a whole lot of, you see. Last year I tried to revamp his ninja getup (including an odd idea on how a guy with a braided ponytail can avoid having his 'do used against him) and while I did like the result...I kept forgetting to scan it >_<

So here he is. I may post one of the older Yerf-era pics of him sometime to show you folks how he's evolved over the years.
