'yarn' tail? As in... knitting yarn? Really?
I've never heard of tails being made like that, but then again I'm new to fursuiting. I like it very much, looks great!

Yep it is a yarn tail made in the CATS musical German Style and then brushed out. Thank you ;)

How do you brush it out? start from the bottom and go up?

Try double knotting the string and be extra carefull when brushing it out. Hold onto the knotted area while brushing the bottom yarn out.

Sorry it took so long to reply. I used Lady Jemmas tutorial on yarn tails and changed it up a bit. Its really about useing alot of foofy yarn and brushing it out alot.

Also CHoose a few colors which are coyoteish and which will blend well together when brushed out. I think I used 4 or 5 diff yarn colors on this tail
