HEARTS OF RED Chapter 1:1 Introduction
HEARTS OF RED
Once upon a time, the world was lived by two races, Humans and Monsters. All Monsters and Humans lived in peace, but then an argument started and a war took place. Unfortunately for the Monsters, the Humans were victorious and banished all monsters in the mountain. There were 7 Humans who created a barrier to prevent Monsters from escaping the mountain. These Humans have SOULS inside their bodies to represent 7 different traits; Patience, Bravery, Integrity, Perseverance, Kindness, Justice, and Determination. Just like Humans, all Monsters also have SOULS which represent Hope. All Monsters decided not to give up Hope, so that one day, they might have a chance to see the surface again. But for the time being, they remain in the mountain home they call The Underground.
4 years later… (201X)
There has been a legend where 6 Humans have fallen down into the mountain in curiosity and eventually explored through The Underground. Unfortunately, all six have died and all their SOULS have been taken by Asgore, the king of Monsters. Later, 2 humans named Frisk and Chara have heard this legend and decided to climb up the mountain.
Frisk: Are you sure we should do this, Chara?
Chara: Don’t worry, Frisk. I’m sure that we’ll be fine.
Frisk: I don’t know. I don’t want to fall down the mountain like the 6 children in the legend.
Chara: Frisk, if you don’t want to go then you can climb back down the mountain.
Frisk: Uh, there’s 2 reasons why I can’t climb back down. 1, This mountain is over 40 feet tall and it was hard to climb up here. And 2, I would never leave you by yourself. So I’m coming with you.
Chara: Alright, suit yourself.
Both children have found a huge hole and looked inside. Not much could be seen from the top. But then Chara tripped over a tree root and was about to fall down. But Frisk managed to grab Chara’s arm and pull her up. Chara was too heavy for Frisk, so they both fell down to the bottom of the hole and landed on a bed of golden flowers. Luckily, the flowers caused them to not die from their fall, but they both were unconscious and lied on the flowers for a while.
