Apple; one of these morality constructs is based on Davros himself. When have anything either of those guys done ended well in the long run?!

LOVE the 4th Doctor Who references.. ( he was the first doctor of the series I encountered, and thus my utmost favorite.. Davros made an excellent recurring villain for the WHOLE run in my opinion too..)

There is one thing I do not understand.... If Apple is really in love with Misty, why not say it openly ?
Of course, I think that Misty is not interested but, at least, Apple would be more honest.

She's not in love. She's sick, has no boundaries, and has fixated on Misty as a target. This chick is fucked up, to put it mildly.

Aside from Rhio's explanation:
She seems to not really be able to be open about her feelings. Perhaps its insecurity, inability to connect or something pathological - we don't really have enough of the character's life story to really guess at. But either way she carries fixations and doesn't have the emotional maturity to really act on them or engage openly with her interests.
(Given the way that she treated her ex, she doesn't seem to empathize with others the best either...)
