being heavy is a detriment, overall in even this dark ages type martial arts game. Heavy and slow the full power still does not reach maximum or anything even more than 10% until full extension or the full extension of the blow to be made.
Crushing that blow or cunningly redirecting it with a simple parry and stepping into the strike will render the massive beast of a character ineffective. But I assume Amello does not allow finesse in an aggressive parry does it?! So a small opponent such as this little guy with a thin-bladed rapier will always lose in the creators of Armello, whereas in real life versus a razor blade three feet long the rapier will win, along with timing and hoof, er pad work in the small fellow's case.
Well done picture though, good use of shadows and blur.

I just noticed that she has replaced the tails on her belt with skulls. Great little detail!
The whole calm menace in Magna here is both amazing and really scary. Including what I presume is Thane's sword stuck in her side. Really feels like someone who can weather anything you can throw at her and then simply roll over you as if you weren't even there.

Never really been a fan of Magna. This does look pretty neat though. I prefer Fang - or alternatively Thane.
I remember one game in which i had been playing Hargrave prior to the explosion-limitations in which i got really lucky to score an 20+ Overkill on the king.. ..literal annihilation. Bunny of Mass Destruction

I like how you've got this as a climax scene. Firstly the use of monochrome really conveys a sense of foreboding. The shafts of light coming through the window not only highlight the animal on the floor but the throne in the background, so those two have become the goal objects. The menacing feel of the intruder is certainly projected. However, I'm going to back the guy on the ground.
Nice work⭐⭐⭐⭐

A lot of people have been keeping up with the lore, and it doesn't paint the Wolf Clan in the best of lights; in the novella, Thane was the only one who seemed to realize the potential risks of the Rot, while Magna, River, and Fang just blew him off in various ways; Magna did literally nothing but mock him despite mounting evidence, River acted as if he was an idiot, and Fang beat the hell out of him in front of the entire kingdom for expressing concerns. Sure enough, Fang got corrupted, killed the Wolf king, released an incredibly powerful bane and got exiled, and now the clan is looking towards Thane to try and lead them... despite the explicit fact that Thane was never trained for it due to him being the second child and not the actual heir.
Individual character studies by the Steam and Reddit communities ended up furthering the point; while Thane's a snarky idiot, he still ultimately means well and is trying to learn. Meanwhile, River knows very little about politics (same as Thane funnily enough), Fang's been corrupted, and Magna, judging from the Wolf Clan's military strategy, would likely turn them into an isolationist dictatorship.
To focus more on Magna specifically; from what little was shown about her in both the novella and the game itself, she's rather similar to Fang in terms of character; proud, arrogant, and willing to try and "help" the Wolf Clan at all costs... regardless of evidence to the contrary. Like in the picture above, I could honestly see her getting infected by the Rot in canon just so she could try and spite Thane; it certainly wouldn't be out of character for her, or even River, if the novel is any indication.
