I can give a lot of advice, but I'm also still a beginner when it comes to full world building from scratch. If you have any questions regarding the subject, I'm more than willing to answer ^^

Cool! One thing I keep doing is seeing someone else's species/OCs (like your shadow fiend girl) then wanting to incorporate parts of their design into my characters... this seems like its a bit of a problem (to me anyway). Do you ever have this problem? And is there a point at which I should stop making new species/OCs and develop what I have?
