Despondency (String Quartet)

First off, the title sucks and was thought up halfway through writing it, so it doesn't entirely fit anymore. Second, this is a string quartet I wrote, and I thought I'd post it on here because...why not? This recording is live, from the last concert that went on here, and yeah.
Third, as far as performance goes, the typical stigma of "amazing dress rehearsal, not-so-amazing performance" applies, as it always seems to do for me.
Sucky bits!:
0:16 : First violin kind of...couldn't find the fingering for her notes, or something?
1:47 : Viola kind of went flat.
2:02 : Oh god, they hardly ever got this part down...for the next 8 seconds, you get to hear the viola and cello be very out of tune with each other. FUN, RIGHT.
So yeah.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to get performers again till next year, because exams are starting, and by then, I'd probably have more stuff that needed to be performed...but yeah, I wish I had a recording of them playing perfectly like in rehearsals. >.<
I liked your use of atonality; 'twas done particularly well, and those performance errors were hardly noticeable. Also thanks for the watch, you are certainly worth one as well :3
I'm really impressed by your piano pieces, I've gotta say (now that I have your attention, heheh). Rather wish I could sit down and actually write something big for piano like that, being a pianist, but I usually get stuck on the easier stuff that I can play without having to spend time practicing.
Also, your use of modes in Changing Modes was pretty sweet. :3
You know, I'm not that great of a pianist myself. Most of my stuff is synthesized, so you could always try that. Sonata form, for instance is easy. You get to repeat quite a bit. Speaking of which, if you like my piano stuff then you gotta hear my second and third sonatas if you haven't already, 'cause they're awesome if it's not too conceited to say so :3
