Oh goodness, I just realized I never posted a comment on this one.
Taunting Yi as Rammus to get him away from squishy teammates is actually something that rarely happens for me anymore - in part because I don't play the 'dillo as much as I used to, but also because when I started moving up in the matchmaking system, my enemies pretty much stopped playing Yi altogether. :v
I've seen him a few times on Treeline though. It seems like physical melee champs are far more successful on the smaller map.

Yeah, finding picture references for LoL characters is really tough, theres like only ONE for Blitzcrank when I went to go draw him.
These drawings are pretty spot on compared to their in game selves. I love the look on Rammus' face, and the explanation of piercing taunt is just so much win. Keep it up.

If you have a fancy 3D program, I'm pretty sure it's possible to open and view the real character models in it, straight from the game itself. If not, you could simply start a practice game, zoom in, and take a bunch of screencaps (preferably with the highest graphics settings).
