History: The details of Priscilla's birth and origins are hazy, long since lost to an unknown amount of time. She was born a Primarina- Marking her as a direct reincarnation of a Queen of an underwater kingdom called Hyperborea. Unfortunately, surface dwellers don't know anything about the kingdom, as they've lived in solitude at the bottom of the sea for eons. Priscilla, or Petra as she was then known, was drawn towards the sea by forces she did not understand, heeding a call she couldn't hear. She left home to live in the kingdom beneath the waves, abandoning her former self to accept the destiny thrust upon her, as the new queen of Hyperborea.

However, upon arriving in the kingdom, she found it almost completely empty, but not barren. She discovered that the people living there had vanished long ago, and that her powers as a reincarnation of Priscilla allowed her to give the residents of the kingdom a sort of second life- Hollow echoes of who they once were, pale imitations of life... But in her loneliness in the kingdom, she accepted this as her only form of companionship. She ruled Hyperborea for an unknown amount of time, the dates long since faded to memory, deluded into believing that her subjects were alive and well, and not manifestations of her power... Until the day Joseph arrived!

One day on a swim through the sea, Priscilla happened to find Joseph after he'd fallen off a ferry in the middle of the ocean. She took him back to Hyperborea, where she discovered that he was a land dweller and would inevitably have to return to the land. Fascinated by him, she kept him in the palace for as long as she could, but he was quick to point out that the stagnant, repeated motions of not just her subjects, but herself, was not a fulfilling life, she broke down. Terribly upset, the illusion of life ruined, it was only Joseph's calm affirmation and invitation to join him on the surface as not only his friend and teammate, but lover as well, did she make up her mind. Resolve steeled, and mind burning with questions, she returned to the surface to live with him. What mysteries awaited her on the surface? And what sort of world lied beyond the palace she'd roamed for who knew how long? And what happened to her people? She joined him to find out.
