eh yes, Giovanni, his kid has to be the best rival as well (rival in gold/silver/crystal). if i remember correctly he would give you a really nice TM to boot. lastly, he held the greatest team of thugs that the others such as team galactic and team magma/aqua tried to copy, and failed.
