Keras "horn in Greek" hatched in the middle of spring of modern day Tanzania. he was the only survivor of a clutch of five. Keras was a born explorer his curiousity often led him to unknown places often times he'd run into trouble with larger theropods like Bevadora the Allosaurus which is quickly driving Keras' species into extinction. Keras being such an intimidating predator, he could be very playful often playing with the first thing he sees. Herbivores often don't pick up on this right away, they just see a Ceratosaurus coming at them ready to pounce and eat them.
When he reached 5 years of age he runs into Bevadora and become pretty close as friends, every year when the Sauropods come into mate the two therapods come and hunt together.
