OH HEY NICE TO MEET YOU, I GOTTA FLY.
I had to. I'm sorry. I had to pun. Couldn't be helped.
This one was a bit delayed, I had a bunch of commissions to work on this weekend, which is a hella awesome problem to have!
I always say I like writing scenes where characters are wrong: where they make logical conclusions that are incorrect, or have bad information...but it turns out I also love writing scenes where everyone's right. This one...kinda both!

skin wings talk about MLPFIM well at least they dont look like he has a big pair of rubber gloves attached to his back.. https://www.furaffinity.net/view/7904820/
what is it called expediency? animation to save time.. from multiple images and comics you can take your time and draw in the feathers... I know all that but you would think they would get the wings the right proportions.. only you seem to get it right.. so do you use models for drawing poses?
Yup, stylization has two main purposes! To emphasize what’s important, and to save you time from working on what’s not (and with the right people you could have hours of discussion on the philosophy of what you’re choosing to emphasize or nah).
No, no models, just a lot of practice, and working from refs whenever I’m not being cocky and dumb! I did some 3D modeling in art school, but don’t have the software licenses anymore...or the wherewithal to teach myself Blender. But thank you! I try to keep his wings consistent, though I’m not always sure I succeed!
