quick pic for

We were talking about monster hunter and FM showed me some pictures of armor from the game and I thought I'd try to draw the Nargacuga armor....
I know nothing about Monster Hunter but heck the armor looked interesting, I butchered it though. So far I think this is the worse coloring job I've done with my markers so far...

But yeah, the coloring could use some work. Narga is black. Not blue or navy, absolutely black. I can see a few problems with the general design as well, but it's recognizable, which is basically all you really need. That said, ignoring the errors, it's a pretty good picture, especially for something made up on-the-fly.
well its a learning experience, I think if this is the worse pic I've done with the markers so far...and I don't think this pic is that bad...then maybe I'm not doing too bad. I'm a bit limited by the color selection I have right now and I don't like how the highlights on the lower scales came out but I'm not sure how to fix that.
I don't know anything about any of the weapons, I just needed hir to be holding something and I thought of the giant sword you used to have. I didn't know the armor was black, the picture reference I had it looked just dark blue (this was still too light anyways)
