This one's for DragonMayne... His description was to have him, holding a beer, pointing at something and laughing drunkenly. He seemed like kind of an outdoorsy guy and I was immediately inspired by all the backyard parties I've had with buddies living way out in the boonies. THIS is what real lawn furnature is, people!
Bonus points to whoever can correctly identify all three beers pictured in this scene. Especially if you can identify the beer in the bottom left! :9
Edit: Damn, I did this commission on my laptop's LCD, so it's a wee bit dark. I recommend veiwing this with the lights turned off... Eh... Okay, went back and touched up the levels a little bit. This is better :) Not perfect, but better.

well... although we got plenty'a open space here where I live, it's usually so wet either from snow or rain that a couch wouldn't last too long outside... we've got one rottin' out back even now, heh... but there's still plenty'a spaces with where I can lounge outside an r'lax... jus' that there's few chances ta do so :)
Well, luckily for us I've seen couches survive quite a few seasons outside where I'm at... I mean, the winters are hell, and we get rain, but the summers are typically dry enough to keep a couch from being wet for any extended amount of time. And there's nothing quite like sitting on a worn out old couch around a fire drinking beers...
Oh man, this is news to me... I'd like to thank my parents for not prying too deeply, my teachers for never caring, my friends for being the best there ever were, and the academy for finally recognizing all the hard work I sometimes did and the porn I sometimes drew! I'm so happy ;˚^˚; Flowers! Everybody loves me!
*puts flowers and presents on top of trophy* Mind carrying these for me too? ;*^*; Now, smooches from smokin' babes! Feel free to rush in, there's only so much of me to go around! Man, this shirt's chafing me, why don't you all rip it off? Are you sure your shirts aren't chafing you just a little bit too? Oh they ARE? How wonderful *w*
Man no ones guessed the beers! I only know one because you said which it was... as for me I just drink Ciders...
Great picture though, theres a lot of life going on in the image, the pose and expression on the couched wolf is great, but I think above all, the fire in the barrel is absolutely amazing! I like the little holes that look like eyes and how they sparkle with flame. The outdoorsy part is a nice touch too. Great job on all the detail, even the tress are amazing!

Whups! I mentioned one of them?! Better fix that, because this is serious business here and no one can possibly be hinted to what any of the beers are.
Heh, thanks... I don't do a lot of outdoors pics... Probably because I just straight up don't do a lot, but I like how it turned out :)

DAAAAAMN
Beer's michelob right? lol
Fucking hardcore dude, the lighting and feel to the picture is amazing. SPECIALLY the drum fire, your sig is hella chill too, i use these montana XL markers that have the same color effect, you load up the paint scheme and boom.
I still need to scribe spigot somewhere.

basically.. find an empty marker, load up acrylic paint mixed with vaseline.. with one color and another with the same mixture of a diffrent color. let set for two days and the colors should mix with the vaseline and stuff but not with eachother.
So like if you mix blue and yellow.. it wont look green lol.
I sent some to decaf ill send some to you.

Nice way you made the flames look so liquid (something many artists seem to forget when trying to draw fire).
Not being that big of a beer drinker (I prefer harder stuff) I don't recognize the brands, but I am still hankering for the days when I lived in an area with enough space where something like this was possible.
Ah, happy memories.

Spattering....lol...
Im not going to have too many evenings like that one in the Picture again...I gave up drinking for a year...I have training to do for a hike...I'm going to Isle Royale to see if I cant get some pictures of the wolves there.
Again Spigot, Well done!

I live by the woods. there are always teenage guys dragging furnature and cases of beer out there in the summer. then I have to try and sleep through all the drunken "WOOOO"s I hear through the night. gotta be a guy thing. I never saw the appeal.
great work on the pic, though.

Heh, we have plenty of ladies who join in the fun too. Not so much a guy thing, more a "drunken" thing :D
Maybe next time instead of sleeping through it, you should grab a few tall ones yourself and go see what the fuss is all about :D Oh, I'm just razzing ya. I know how that could get very irritating... We prefer to keep the furnature in our own property way out in the middle of nowhere where we don't bother anyone :)
Heh, thanks.

BECAUSE IF YOU FAV IT YOU ARE ALSO AN ALCOHOLIC VICARIOUSLY
Lol, just bugging ya. Glad you faved it anyway :) Maybe we can pretend it's non-alcoholic beverages, and their slurred speech and staggering movement is the result of some conveniently unexplained head truama?

Hey now, just because we sit on couches around a fire out in the woods drinking beer, playing hockey with crushed beer cans, and tearing around farmer's fields in pickups doesn't mean we're redne... that is to say... we... rednecks, they...
You win this round :(
Lol, I'll consider it ;) I've got plenty of material to work with.

So good. So damn good! Makes me wish I was back in high school again with my friends, driving deep into a holler with as much cheap beer as we could carry. I swear to god, throwing gallons of kerosene onto a river and lighting it would be unforgivably irresponsible under any other circumstances. X3
Candid! Yeah! That's EXACTLY what I intended to do >.> <.< yeah...
Someone's fly could have been open, but I think it's more likely a bunch of drunken guys had gotten up on a picnic table and were linedancing when the table collapsed under them. No, that has never happened to me... of course not...
Why are you all staring at me?

Lovely work, just about every aspect of it. But I think my favourite part is how you've captured the flames. Most people make the mistake to portray flames as static and "blocky", but these are full of energy and just pleasant to look at. Almost as mesmerizing as the real thing. :)
Very impressive work, overall!

Wow, awesome much? The lighting, beer spray and sparks just give this a wicked sense of still-motion - if you know what I mean. The brilliant thing is that it'd incredibly difficult/impossible? to capture this image in such detail on film; the fast shutter speed and low lighting just wouldn't like each other. :D
