Back when I was a child towns used to frighten me. There was always too much stink and grime, too much noise, and too much crime and violence. I always kept my heart in the woods, but now that the woods were no longer safe for me I couldn't help but feel relieved when I saw Falkreath waiting just a few steps away.
Once I stepped foot in the town I made my way to the tavern - not to drink, but to instead make my own concoctions. It was hard to concentrate though because Nords were always such loud drunks. Afterwards, I entered the general store and traded some of my potions with the store keep. Of course he found plenty of use in my energizing potions, but it was a bit of a harder sell to get him to purchase the ones for fire resistance. Perhaps I should try selling these to a cook instead next time.
I spent the rest of the day mostly reading a book on lockpicking which I stole from some bandits.
