...I am putting this in scraps because, well, even a monkey can do this when you think about it :p
Lets say you have leftover white rice from your Chinese food takeout order, but you don't want to waste it.
Well, if it dried out from yesterday, that's no problem - because all you need to do is get a small pan of boiling water...rehydrate it...and add in your favorite ramen packet as well (I had a leftover Oriental flavor) then serve!
Now yes, I realize this recipe isn't all -that- and a bag of chips...But! plain rice in and of itself is a great base for a lot of things: You can also add in sautéed onions and mushrooms to this, along with stirred egg; you could fry it on a wok to get that nice crust; or fry along and add in an egg, your favorite veggies + soy sauce / teriyaki / oyster sauce and make stir fried rice; or, go the sweet way and cook in soy milk / regular milk in the rice along with a capful of vanilla, cinnamon, raisins, and temper the egg on a simmer - you have 'Indian' rice pudding instead!
