Slowly getting the hang of my tablet, now that I'm starting to get some basic shapes down might see if I can start learning how to make colors look a bit less flat.
Anyway... Calex loves to regress his friends as part of some playful mischief and take them on adventures. After all, he doesn't have a lot of friends his own age until he makes some new ones.... But sometimes, regression can serve another purpose. When a friend is just having a rough day, and you know they just need someone to pick them up and give them a big hug, tell them everything is going to be okay, and that you'll keep them safe.
Of course
zeelo would be a bit big for Calex to pick up normally, but once reduced to an infant, Calex can cradle the tinier kitten in his arms, holding Zeelo close to his warm fur and providing comfort. Feeling safe and loved in the arms of a friend it isn't long before Zeelo drifts off to sleep and Calex keeps watch on the infant to make sure noting disturbs his much needed peace.
