If you enter the grove on a full moon,
when the hue of the sunset is a deep blue,
the blue fox of the woods can be found...
Every fall Corbyn had heard the legend from his grandfather. He loved the tale & the grove, really wanting to see if it were true. But he was always considered too young to wander off on his own near night. Now being a teenager, he was free to do as he pleased on this visit. Telling his grandparents he was going out to the local pizza parlor, he went to the grove instead, Corbyn began his search for the legenday blue fox. The blue hue of the sunset soon came as he walked the trail. Before his eyes, the fox appeared in front of him. It happened just as it was stated in the legend.
But then the fox stepped forward and spoke aloud, "Congratulations Corbyn. You have found me."
Corbyn was stunned. "...You can talk?"
"Yes," confirmed the fox as he nodded his head. "I know you have been longing to find me for years."
"How did you know that?" Corbyn asked, taken aback.
The fox simply told him, "It was destined to happen."
Suddenly, a wave of energy emcompassed Corbyn, making him feel different. Looking down at his hands, he saw them becoming paws. His ears moved to the top of his head. A bushy blue tail grew out of his lower back. While his face pushed out into a muzzle, fur infused his body. Eventually he couldn't stand anymore and fell forward onto four legs. Corbyn, while panicked by what was happening, felt deep down his transformation was right.
As the changes continued, the blue fox explained, "I once was human like you, and I had heard the legend like you. My pursuit of it lead to me becoming the keeper of these woods. But I am now very old and my body has grown tired. It has come time to pass the duty onto someone else. You are to be my replacement Corbyn. I will teach you & show you the ways of the forest. Once I am gone, this all becomes yours to watch over..."
Corbyn only nodded in response, welcoming the incredible gift & responsibility bestowed upon him.

It proved to be a unique challenge for my photomanipulation abilities because Corbyn had just given me a photo with him in his room. While I could have scooted by on the bare minimum, I decided to liven up this manipulation by inserting him into an entirely different backdrop and getting it to match in quality/lighting. It took a long time and tons of experimentation to get right but I feel it was well worth the effort. The only problem I have is that the a lot of the detail I put into fur has been lost in the attempt to match the lighting of the backdrop.
But anyway. hopefully everyone else is happy with it too, especially Corbyn.
Hope it was worth the wait man!
