Another Groundmaw. This one lives in the wet lands, counter to the desert variant. The Sunken Groundmaw or ( submerged ) Groundmaw lurks around in wet forests and swamps. It's tail acts like a trap. If anything gets near it or steps on it, SNAP! Then the Groundmaw comes out from hiding to enjoy the newly caught meal.

The whiskers on it's face senses electrical signals and vibrations within the water. It's tendrils on it's head mimic water vegetation. The creature has armored gills on each sides of it's head. It's skin is mostly smooth, but there are some rough and bumpy parts that act like armor.
