The "Diamond in the pines" was truly a treat. Shopping centers with vintage clothes, fast food restaurants with fresh beef cut daily, and even a place to buy bathing supplies so she doesn't always smell like wasteland. Nacogdoches may truly be a pre-war diamond adrift in the deeps of the piney woods, but there is still a great blue shadow cast over the oasis in the wastes. They can't make a good caramel frappuccino. Whisper doesn't know what it's supposed to taste like but the friendly super mutant that made it for her definitely put in salt instead of sugar. Still better than 200 year old cocoa powder though.
