I feel so bad...I can't believe I did this to the first real present I ever received from my parents. I feel very ashamed of myself. It seems to be all cosmetic, though, so hopefully in a few weeks I can have it back...

If it was steel and you wouldnt miss the pain then I could fix the cosmetic. If it didnt run correctly then yes I would probably be able to.

It is steel...and as far as I know I just need to replace the air filter cover maybe...They wouldn't let me look to much. I would miss the paint, but I can match it if I go to the Chevy dealer...

Apparently my insurance company has a place that can do it all...but I'm dubious

Meh. Im a mechanic not a body repair person. Now if it was a early 90's or 80's car with that blocky style then hell ya i could fix the body.

Not right now. The bumper and fender are to mess up and I don't have a headlight of any kind

That can be a bit of a prob. If I were there I would remove the bumper and fender and go buy a cheapie headlight to hook up thats compatible. Not good lookin but im it would work just fine.

then there is the problem of the hood being bent up and my air filter...

Easy. Hammer the hood out and replace the filter. Like I said. Not pretty but drivable.

but if I do all of that, my insurance won't cover repairs later...I may as well just wait. I think I'm going to use my mom's Malibu or my dad's Silverado while they have the rent a car...and I think I will avoid 95 for a while

Reasonable enough. I was in a no RP mood for awhile and now Ive even started another site from wanting to so bad. Of course some of the credit for Lands of Bitter Darkness goes to my GF.

I don't know yet...I have got one body shop saying they can fix it and the other saying it is totaled...so we are waiting on the insurance comapny to say something...which is killing me cause I loved that little car
