The truck is a Ford 8000L with a large dirt box on it. The loader is a Caterpillar 985G the bucket is 10 feet wide the tires are just shy of 8 feet tall. Two to three scoops and the normal trucks are loaded depending on what's being loaded

I'm curious. Only recently have the gravel and construction trucks here in Southern CA been sporting extra axles, mostly a single. This is the first time I've seen a double set of axles under a dump box though. How does the truck handle, if I may ask?

The booster axles are self steering going forward so it's no big deal... when backing up you have to raise them to avoid damage to them.

I see the multi axle dump trucks a lot in Arizona - they seem to handle well. Now if some of the local drivers would put the box down after dumping a load.... we've had a few traffic lights taken out that way in the past year...
