Pair of tongs I made to hold 1.5 inch diameter round bar. They look a bit flimsy, but flimsy is all I can make in my little rinky dink forge. They do hold rather well, but It's a bit tough trying to draw out a piece of 4 inch long solid steel bar that is 1 and a half inches thick.
I think I need to train one of the local kids how to swing a small sledge hammer and have him go at it.

The tongs were made from 5/8ths round bar that were 7 inches long and drawn out to their new length that I didn't remember to measure.
