The final look of the request made by 
Furrywriter of a picture of his fursona. ^\/^.
In the final look I made it a night scene with a stylized brick wall in the back with his name in graffiti form. For a light source I added what looks to be light from a street lamp. Computones (a manga style tone software) were used throughout to get the effects on all layers except the body which was made with noise filters and the eyes which used gradients. Additional filters were used to get the lighting and shadow effects on the whole figure. ^\/^.
I hope it is not too dark since I am unused to doing night scenes. LOL. ^\/^.

Thank you again. I think I got some idea for the environment from watching a few old school music videos, particularly this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ByNROf8v-Q which used to be my favorite as a kid since it was one of the few with a cartoon character in it. LOL. ^\/^.
