So I was introduced earlier this month to a 60s television show called The Wild Wild West. It follows the adventures of two secret service agents named Jim West and Artemus Gordon set during the 1800s. Think of the premise as taking James Bond and putting him in the 1800s, you essentially have the character of Jim West. Artemus is my favorite of the two, given how nearly every episode, he disguises himself to find information to pass along to Jim. Given the limitations to what shows could offer in the 60s, to my eyes it certainly has held up very well and is enjoyable.
Naturally I was talking to gamesport88 about my love for the show and an idea of us playing the characters and well needless to say this was the result!

Did you know that even though this show had really decent enough viewing standings, it was cancelled? Do you wanna know why it was cancelled? Because Congress at the time thought this show was "too violent". I guess Jim punched one too many bad guys in the run. Though they did end up making two made for television movies a few years later with the original cast. They were going to make a third one but Ross Martin (Artemus) died of a heart attack in the 80s so it never panned out.

We not gonna talk about the 1999 movie based on the show. Because it didn't age well and really had hardly much likeness to the TV series
