Well, bright colors are part of the theme of the character, isnt it? So i guess it kinda fits. Bu you can convey the sene of brigh colorsusig more subdued shades, beecause people hasa good aility to correct for light. Same with backgrounds, we can accept that its in... well the background and therefore somewhat darker. In out mind itll still be the same color, ain't it cool?
