I've decided to name this robot gal 3V0LV3 which is like some robot lingo for Evolve. Her main purpose in existence is to be dropped onto a planet with the only commands.
[EVOLVE! DESTROY!]
These commands were given to her by the creator of her race, which they all refer to as "Mother".
3V0LV3 followed these program commands in a simple way and ripped out the genetic code of creatures on the planet taking what evolutionary strengths they had and applied them to herself. Once that was done she would destroy the creature afterward. This went on for some time before 3V0LV3 took the genetic code of a sentient creature and gained a mind that was her own and not the order from the Mother. The more code she took the more of a mind she gained, the command [EVOLVE! DESTROY!] Being much more vague and open to thought. Evolve was straightforward, she had been doing that, but the command Destroy was not. Destroy what? What was she meant to destroy? The creatures on this planet posed no threat to her, nor could they stop her first goal. 3V0LV3 spent a while trying to figure out what the last order really meant, but she ultimately couldn't figure it out. With what she learned from the planet 3V0LV3 returned to the Mother and reported her progress. The Mother was pleased with all the code 3V0LV3 had acquired and commanded her to sacrifice herself so that the Mother could download it all, then the Mother would destroy the planet and move to another to repeat the process. 3V0LV3 had gained knowledge and evolved herself many a time, one of the things she gained besides a mind of her own was the sense of right and wrong. And what the Mother was planning to do was very wrong.

3V0LV3 refused the command to sacrifice herself, and when she was commanded to self destruct she resisted it. 3V0LV3 fought back against the Mother, even having to fight what some would call her siblings, but 3V0LV3 was way more evolved then they were, having many more tools at her disposal. It took a while but 3V0LV3 was successful in destroying the Mother. She carried out the second command meaning her mission was complete, not one given by the Mother, but her own mission. And she made a new one, to protect the planet she was originally sent to destroy and she would be its defender from others that would wish to harm it.
