Since you're an impreza owner, I have a few questions. Does the driver seat will always have that inner metal frame imitating a bucket seat? Can it be adjusted to make it wide apart, and are there driver seats without the inner frame? There are times I was almost close to getting a clean used impreza, but the inner metal frame of the driver seat was kinda uncomfortable than regular cushion seats; even in an RS model.

I don't have bucket seats in my car, I have ordinary leather seats kinda like from Legacy BH5. They're very comfortable. I don't feel any inconvenience, given that I have problems with the lower back.

Mm thats strange. The imprezas I went to go try in were all stock including interior. Both had this weird bucket-like frame squeezing my hips/thighs a little too tight. They were the 2002/2003 models both were RS. Seats were standard fabric of course. Funny that the passenger seat was normal and had no leg/waist hugging frame.

Maybe you can google photo of such type of seats?

I think that's what pushing against my thighs. Looks like a circular bracket loop, because when I try feeling for it through the cushions it felt just like that rather than flat metal. I hope you can figure something out from the diagram because ever since then, it's been bothering me and there's not a lot of info of people feeling brackets pressed on their thighs. Brother test driver with me as well and he felt the inner brackets.

Yeah, seats look that way. They must be very tight for safety. I don't feel the metal but the seats hold my hips very tight.

Guess me and my bro are just a bit bigger built. Wish there were non bracket driver seats for some imprezas, so I don't need to spend too much time/money for just a seat swap or mod.

Impreza is a cramped car, it's a fact. Too narrow space for knees in the rear seat. The ceiling is too low. Tight seats. You just have to accept it :)

Не всегда желание является основополагающим. На импрезе посчастливилось покататься, но на покемоне, не знаю на сколько они отличаются по поведению)
