I think you hit the Carnival feel just right. I love the colors and the mask. The movement that takes you through the piece is beautifully done.

Sweet colors. I like how it takes a moment to figure out that those flame-things are actually animal shapes.

oh, i forgot to say WHY i like it so much X3. well the vibrant colors and the way the cute little animals form a shape of a flame is beautiful and the colorful mask and the black and white face and black background helps you draw your attention to the details you've made to this pic

I ended up forgetting mine in the motel room.

Mine is on my wall. I'm hella surprised I managed to bring it all the way back home in VA. Usually, I forget this kind of stuff. It's very pretty and I show it off to everyone who enters my room :3

Also, I can't help but note how comparatively darker the poster is to the actual image. I wish it was as bright as the original now. That's alright though. The craftsmenship and the details of the image itself make up for it :3

I actually toned the poster a little lighter cause I figured it'd print darker.

After looking at your work for the FWA con I'm really regretting not attending. This poster design mis wonderful, i love the way you sneaked in KamiCheetah in the background and have her off set by wild party colors. The little flaming characters in the rainbow spectrum are hilariously cute.

I have to admit I was blown away when I first looked at the poster I got from FWA, at first glance it's great but when you look closer all those little details come out. Like all the details on the mask, the markings on the little 'spirits' and I just think they look like they are having entirely too much fun.

the layer was one face, the small animals were three.

The texture on the face and the clear, bright, sharp colors on all of the animals is what got me... e-e

the texture is just a layer effect from sai and the bright colors are a luminosity layer.
