Okay, one thing i've never understood is why some girls think that wearing TIGHT CLOTHES makes you look thin. I know Chew personally and she is a great girl. The problem behind the shirt was no one can take a joke. A "great" and "Mighty" popufur got butthurt by her simply wearing it. The problem is a lot of furries, can't take a joke. She can. She knows what happened and all that stuff. I still tease her about stuff. But the difference is, she can take a joke.
The fact quite a few furs can't take a joke just shows why we as a fandom are a targeted subculture.
I won't name any names, but that is the story behind it. Literally, the account was banned at the con after someone saw it. The shirt wasn't in violation of any terms or service.

White knighting someone's mistakes is almost as bad as the mistakes themselves. It's not that we can't take a joke, it's just that she made a joke, a laughing stock out of us. Aaaaand that's not a funny thing to do to your peers, furry or not.

We're furries. It's going to happen. It happened even way before she was on the Tyra Banks show. Thus, from here on out, whenever a media opportunity comes up, I will take it. Why? Because I'm sick of the fandom being afraid of the media. Despite the bad publicity we got out of all our media attention, the new furs keep pouring in, if anything more than ever. If we can't make fun of ourselves, then that just shows trolls such as Anon that we are extremely easy to spin up.
