Fun fact: Real rescue dogs (à la Saint Bernard) don't carry whiskey in the container. In most winter survival situations, whiskey and other alcohol would just make it worse and much more likely that you'd die. They typically carried milk instead. Although, it could be root beer (and therefore they could just be suffering the normal effects of root boozles).
