"Wait a second, wasn't Johnny supposed to be a Fennec Fox in this movie?"
"No, He's always been a Red Panda, man! What movie did you watch?"
"Oh no, I crossed over from a different timeline!"
Felt like sharing this alternate version of a commission I got from
featherhead.
The story behind it was like this:
So, I'm told that my commission was put on hold because their tablet pen broke. That's alright, I can wait, but in the meantime I have an idea for some alterations... I still think the picture was at an earlier state, since the last WIP I got was a background and lineart layout thing. Little did I know it was basically 95% finished here. They agree to the alterations for extra though, and we end up with the final version. Luckily all they had to really do is alter the face and tail a bit, since they're the same shape.
They've said that the Fennec fox version fits the role of "Animated movie protagonist" better, but this one is still a good picture that I'm going to use as an avatar and banner for places like Twitter and stuff for the next time I switch forms... I just love how fat his little face is in the upper corner XD
