stupid mouse art makes me feel better when I'm sad.

I was making a beautiful chocolate babka as a birthday present for someone. The steps are numerous and laborious. I got through the hardest parts then realized I had measured the sugar incorrectly. I figured okay, I will double everything else to make extra dough. I added all the extra crap in and used up (literally) like 18 eggs and 12 cups of bread flour and butter and sugar...and I turned on the mixer and a giant wave of yeasted milk went everywhere, I had to throw away a book I liked from college (zofloya), and some magazines, and had to clean everything up, and I tried kneading the dough with my hands anyway and it just was a big big big mess.

I feel sad. Babka fail.
