Okay momma and two kits, the third is missing... on the way back from Roche Harbor Market all three kits were there.
For new people, foxes are not native to San Juan Island, in the late 1800s the British imported them so the British officers could have their fox hunts. The whole fox population on the island come from eight pair of English foxes. The British also imported rabbits that are also not native to San Juan Island as a food source for the foxes... most of the rabbits can be found on the south end of the island. In years past I have seen rabbits as large as a fox down by American Camp.
