Actually plants are smart enough to find water, find sun light sources, and yes they do evolve to some point that is how we have so many types of plants for different types of environment and variations, and they also filter our air and stabilize our ecosystem so we can live in this Earth, which computers cant do. My point for all this was to point out that plants are living creatures too, I did this in retaliation to the few vegetarians who say they are pro life and that is why they don't eat meet cause killing living creatures is wrong and meat eaters are monsters and blah blah blah. They may not be sentient (which still is up to debate) but my point is they are living creatures too, that is it. I have nothing against people choice of food or life still Im not attacking that, Im just against ignorance. =:3

It's not smarts. They do not have brains and thought. Response via chemical reactions is not the same as actual intelligent response.

I don't really know of any vegans who are against killing anything that is alive, just against killing anyONE, as in sentient beings, besides ONE fruitatarian. Out of the hundreds of vegans I have talked to through Facebook and other social networking sites, that was the only one I knew of that made the claim that non-sentient living things had rights like sentient beings. They are very rare, lol.

Like I said this was a pro life thing directed to the few jerk vegans and vegetarians that I did out of boredom and you seem cool and not a jerk so I meant no offence, if any =:3

If there are vegetarians and vegans out there who claim that they follow this diet so that they don't eat living beings, they are overly simplifying one of the reasons to become a vegetarian / vegan (apart from health and environmentalism) which is: no to eat animal flesh because you do not want to force a sentient creature to die for you. Of course, in many cases it is related to the conditions in which the animal is living or to the mere fact that eating less meat is both healthier for us and the planet (no meat at all on all continent would be relatively impossible though, not for health issues, but because we still use wool/leather and because grazing animal help the soil recovering from intensive agriculture).

I still can't help but facepalm at people who use the "living being" excuse, it's like they are begging for people to misunderstand or mock their view.
