Andalites are a great mix of eerie, beautiful and creepy and I have been itching to draw one for a long time. Basically this is whatever I remember from reading Animorphs 20 years ago + having fun.

As a creature completely covered in fur, I feel they would have more than a tiny coating of peach fuzz depending on where they live. Even horses get quite generous winter coats that are often shaved down!

Animorphs: the most underrated kids book series ever. Smooshed in between Goosebumps and the absolute juggernaut that was Harry Potter, it was semi-lost to the ages.

I still have the whole series displayed proudly in my game room.

I feel it's been getting a resurgence of late. My friend pitched and almost sold Netflix on an Animorphs animated adaptation, and were only blocked as Scholastic refuses to do anything with the franchise.

I only saw the version from the Nickoloden show in the late 90's. It scared me really bad and gave me nightmares but this is adorable and beautiful. I wish they could have looked like this in the show.
