It's very different to the sorta thing I normally draw, but I really like this piece. I really like the colour palette, it looks great on every screen I have, with the dominant red/orange of the ground and the character contrasted by the blue mountains and sky, but with subtle flecks of pink in the clouds. The composition is good, every element of this looks as if it belongs together but the eye is drawn to the most relevant bits. I also like the detailed vegetation and the saturation of the trees fading into the background.
I actually think the character is a cool design too, the markings seem if not natural to our world as it exists, at least believable that this is a thing that could have come about naturally. The reds and browns go well with the cream and the yellow and I like the fuzziness of the patterns too.
