How-I-do-things post 1/10
The following 10 post will be reposts but the descriptions will be a more personal look into my process and mindset, principles that form the foundation of who I am as an artist and generally as someone who's job is to work directly with people to create things that mean a lot to them personally.
With that said, here we go...

My first attempt at this painting missed the mark.  Tanrowolf offered to keep it that way and just "use it for something else". I refused any compromise and repainted 70% of the painting until I got the confirmation that my work fits the description of the request.
If you are working in the business where you are paid to somehow materialize the client's ideas, it is your job to do so 100%. The client will be open to creative suggestions, all were in my 8 years of doing this, but if there is an issue with your work, the only acceptable option is to keep working until the issue is resolved.
I found that showing dedication, care and strong work ethic will be rewarded in one way or another.
