Ever since I was a kid growing up out in the country side, I've always, ALWAYS dreamed about space. About what lays up there. If other life is around. What it would be like to go out and leave this planet behind, venturing off into the unknown and floating on forever... Into infinity. And never looking back. Born too early to late to really explore the planet, and too early to get out into deep space.
Star Trek has always held a special place in my heart because of traversing the unknown. New planets. New life. Adventures and trials and triumph and failure and all that.
I've always felt that if I ever had the chance just to orbit the planet, I would just break down and cry, to be out where I want to, and to see our Earth from a distance. To stare at our blue marble and marvel at it. Would just completely flood the inside of my visor.

I felt the same way about airplanes and jets. other people can't fly upside down for a long period of time. But once I was 4f'd for being allergic to penicillin I couldn't join to take advantage of my dreams. Right now we are in the same kind of time as Hg wells and Jules Verne were writing about space travel and the new century, and the people that lived then. Goddard had not made a successful rocket yet, it was all still years away. When astronauts and cosmonauts were going up in space I was too young. I missed out getting into flight school by getting in on a war that was winding down, now I am too old.
I think this is a dream for many , including mine . A spacewalk would be dream come true for me , just everything about it looks exiting , surreal even . Must be so beautifull to be able to look in every direction , upside down , slowly spinning around the whole universe around you
