Mostly-complete illustration taken from the upcoming "Prisoner's Release & Other Stories" collection, by Kyell Gold. The world of Argaea, best known via Kyell's other stories "Volle"/"Pendant of Fortune", features a bridge between the two stories plus some spinoffs, including "Cage". I'm not sure how much I wanna spoil about the story, I just think it's cool to get folks intrigued by the illos alone. I will say I'm used to comic books, so it was an interesting challenge to try and actually do an illustration, with more intensive inking and a slightly more realistic style. It was a lot of fun working with Kyell, actually.
I've provided five b/w illustrations for "Cage", while there is other art by Adam Wan, Arthur Husky, and Sara Palmer throughout the book. It'll be debuting for sale at FC, and later available thru Sofawolf Press!
