'The Light I have inside of me; it's something I was taught to fear. It was the tool of our enemies. It was a weapon that enslaved our people. I was fearful of something that kept calling me, trying to be seduced by its warmth. But my time on Azeroth... meeting and learning from others... being taught that it is a tool, and nothing to be feared. That I can stay myself and use it without succumbing to it. The support of the people of this world.
This isn't just my Light. This is everyone's Light. I'm learning how to use it, but to protect my new home, I'll fight the only way I know how.'
-Atemii, proclaiming this to his mentor
So while I have a lot of orc -characters-, they only represented a part of me. Amit and his kindness. Bal'jek and his quest for strength. Bren and his quiet nature. And Geitz and his desire to be a part of the world. I've always enjoyed quiet strength coming from someone with obvious strength, and the ability to own everything about you and keep moving forward. It's kind of why I felt a draw to
silverst both here and on other sites. I dunno... owning who you are and not looking back inspires me a lot and that I can at least call him someone like a friend means a lot to me. So much so that I found my own 'orc self' - it took a few attempts. Someone who was scarred. Someone who was timid.
...but I'm not scarred. And I may be timid but that's not the whole of me. So... someone who's just different. A blackrock orc who has a taboo power for his people and culture, but with the encouragement of others in this world and being shown you can be strong with it in your own way... yeah. Atemii fits. The name fits. It feels right and I love it.

silverst - it means the world to have something this to be a symbol of my own strength. Thank you
mogurz for making this. And
silverst, thank you for helping me find it. Even if you didn't really realize it.
