Where’s a low-hanging, semi-horizontal branch, a spare tyre, and a spare length of sturdy rope, there will be a tyre swing and likely children playing on it. Naturally, with parks being closed under the lockdown here, I can only imagine that usage of this swing has increased despite nobody being around when I arrived.
We had a rope swing - sans the tyre - in the forest near to where I grew up, rather close to the river as this one was, but much higher. When I was about 6-7 I lost my grip mid-swing, and fell about 10ft down into a pile of brambles. That was not a fun day for me, I can tell you. :P
Hope you enjoy!

What an idyllic place. Too bad the river isn't big enough for fishing, or else this would be the perfect spot ^^
Your little story reminds me of a similar incident i had. I fell off a swing at the highest point on the backswing, did half a somersault in the air, landed with my spine right on a pointy rock and broke a vertebrae. If it wasn't for my strong bones i would have sat in a wheelchair from that point on.

We had willows near our brook when we were kids, and Dad put up a climbing rope with a 2 X 4 at the bottom to serve as a swing. The willow branches were nice and springy, making it an interesting ride. Later, Dad tied an old tire (or tyre, blame Teddy Roosevelt) he had drilled a hole in. Instead of collecting water, the hole let the rain drain...
