The idea for this pic was sparked by a combination of recent work using my travel photography as a base for drawing characters into the scenes, and seeing another artist who was 'cartoonifying' animals he'd taken photos of... so wanted to give that a try with this macaque monkey I photographed in Arashiyama's Monkey Park (in Kyoto)
