It’s admittedly frustrating to not have any accompanying narration to go along with these pics. Granted, one gets the general idea of what is happening, but I feel too detached from these pics to truly understand the mindset of the characters involved and the actions they take. I’m really wondering if you might be able to take some time to go back and add some narration of what’s happening in the moment each of these sequential pics take place.
Just something to firmly connect the average viewer to what’s supposed to be happening there. ^^;

honestly i kept it without narration... well... for the main reason of "if i start narrating i'm going to drown people with unnecessary details that do not move the story forward" so that's why all those details are in the page description of the comic. 😅
There is "doing your work" and there is "infodumping on the poor audience"
And i know myself.
When i start writing down i add more and more stuff which nobody cares about in an attempt to explain stuff nobody even asked.
Sooooo i try and keep my comics utra-stringed and to the point to a fault.
Said fault being that they make sense to me but i have no clue from an outside perspective.
And... uhm... now that i remember i think you almost got driven away at least once by me misunderstanding what you said and providing definitively too much information about stuff you did not ask. 😅
So when i write stories i go through 4 phases.
1) Planning
2) writing the story
3) taking a chainsaw at it and cutting out everything that is not needed for the story but just for me to explain it.
4) healing the story back into something that still makes sense but is also still missing all the chunks which were "too much useless stuff that did not move the story forward".

Not necessarily. If you just separate the narration from the details you've been including, using a line of say asterisks ******************, it would compartmentalize it for people to read on their own time. When I say narration though, I don't mean an entire story on the subject. Just a paragraph or two explaining what is happening, maybe some intended dialogue being spoken and stuff like this. I wouldn't call that info dumping. If you can keep it at around that length, then I really hope you'll consider it because otherwise I really do feel detached from what is truly supposed to be happening beyond face value.
if people ask i will try and explain what is happening in the shortest way possible, but ì;m wary of it... it is very easy for me to go overboard and explain a lot of stuff that is not needed and just confuses people...
Plus... different people want to know different things or require different kinds of explanation. People are just different. What is important to somebody is not to somebody else.
This specific scene is rather simple.
They're both looking rather resolute at the window.
Philomela because she has no clue and does not know better. She is functioning way beyond her parameters which are basically "Look nice and be a singer/ballerina". But she knows remaining here is making the human being suffer and she can try and fly out of that "cold spot in the ceiling"
Wayne because he's obsessed and is too focused to see any other solution. like... you know... just walk through the fire... due to him spending so much time winding her it has spread but it's still little beyond this room and even here it's mostly confined to the perimeter. But due to his obsession and fears he is imagining an apocalyptic scenario just like the war he came out of scant few years back... and ... well... he is a "mad scientist" he has created a problem that is far bigger than it is. It will cost him his house and everything... but... you know... mental health is a big problem and at this moment in time he has nobody to help him but this robot that has no knowledge of what is happening and what is the right thing to do.
