The Black Ice egg finally hatched thanks to  Torie929

Concept was a motherly Sabercat/Bear mix, and for that I chose to go with a cute scene like this, a mom with her adorable cubs! Looks like the mom was grooming her cub and got caught by the camera lol

I've never drawn bears before so I had to sketch a lot and grab a bunch of references until I was finally happy with how she turned out.
Had trouble with the pattern though, since it fits a solid object (like scales) but not an organic one like fur sadly, so I improvised and I think the result is pretty good if I am allowed to say so myself.
Was nice to get out of that comfort zone for once!
